Introducing Katherine - Our New AI Assistant!

We're excited to introduce Katherine, our new telephone AI assistant, designed to make your experience with us more efficient and streamlined. Starting from 20th February, you will have the option to use Katherine when you call the practice.

During this trial phase, we are initially testing this feature with a small number of calls, but we plan to gradually expand it to benefit all our patients.

How it Works:

  • Step 1: Katherine will ask you a series of questions to gather the necessary information about your clinical or non-clinical needs.
  • Step 2: Once you’ve provided your details, Katherine will send your request through to our Klinik team.
  • Step 3: Our team will review your information and get back to you within 48 hours with the appropriate next steps.

Whether your request is related to a clinical issue or a non-clinical matter, Katherine will ensure that your information is directed to the right team for a prompt response.

We’re excited to trial this new feature, and we’re confident that Jessica will help make your experience faster and more convenient. Thank you 

 

Flu and COVID Vaccinations: Eligibility and Booking Information for This Year

  • As flu season approaches, we would like to inform our patients about their eligibility for both the flu and COVID vaccines this year. If you are in any at-risk group, over 65, pregnant, or have a long-term health condition, you are eligible to receive the flu vaccine. Additionally, eligible patients can receive their COVID booster to ensure protection against severe illness.
  • For those wishing to book both vaccinations together, we recommend waiting until our care coordinator contacts you to arrange a convenient appointment. This will allow you to receive both vaccinations at the same time, minimizing appointments.
  • If you prefer to book your flu vaccine only, please contact the surgery or schedule online. Thank you for keeping our community healthy! Stay safe this season.

 

Services update for registered patients

  • THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO PATIENTS REGISTERED WITH WENTWORTH GROUP PRACTICE (incorporating DERWENT MEDICAL PRACTICE).     CLINICAL PHARMACY TEAM, LARGE NURSING TEAM TO INCLUDE ANP, PNs, HCAs and PHLEBOTOMISTS, PHYSIOTHERAPY/JOINT INJECTIONS, TRIAGE SERVICE, FAMILY PLANNING AND SEXUAL HEALTH.     The above clinical teams are ably supported by our large RECEPTION team which includes our Admin/Medical Secretarial team.    To obtain appointments for any of the above please speak to a member of our Reception Team or for a referral at your next clinical appointment.

 

Klinik: Contact us online

  • KLINIK (Starting from Thursday 15/06/2023) - After hearing understandable complaints from our patients about excessive delays in reaching us by telephone the practice invested in Klinik which is a completely new way to access the patient’s services and in line with NHS England’s promise to offer better digital access to patients.

Derwent Crescent Medical Practice update

  • We are now fully merged with Derwent Crescent Medical Practice. Patients register ar Derwent Cressent Medical Centre may have lost their Online access for their Medical Rcords. Please contact practice to set you up for Patient online access  and reception will provide you with a new PIN.
